Privacy policy

Maqamat helps you learn Arabic maqams through listening games, quizzes, and a musical keyboard. Bee Labs LTD publishes the app. No account is required to use it.

Information stored on your device

The app stores your onboarding completion, learning progress, stars, best scores, attempt counts, practice dates, replay counts, mistakes, and streaks on your device. These records let the app resume your learning and show your progress. The app does not send these learning records to Bee Labs LTD.

Audio and permissions

Maqamat plays audio bundled with the app and responds to taps on the on-screen keyboard. It does not record your microphone or access your contacts or location. The app contains no advertising or third-party analytics service.

Sharing and device backup

Bee Labs LTD does not receive, share, or sell the locally stored learning records through the app. Device backup and restore features may handle local app data according to your operating system settings and the platform provider’s policies. App store services may separately process download or platform diagnostic information under their own policies.

Support communications

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use that information to respond to your request and handle related support matters. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.

Retention and removal

Learning records remain in local app storage while you use the app. You can remove local data by clearing the app’s storage where your operating system supports that option, or by deleting the app. Backup copies may remain under your device or cloud backup settings; manage those separately. You may contact us to request removal of information you supplied in a support email, subject to any applicable retention obligations.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when the app’s data practices change and publish the revised effective date on this page.
